30 Minute Circuit Workout

July 9, 2016Allison VaethCardio, Workouts

Alright guys, below is the workout that I used in my class last week. It is a full body circuit workout and will get you sweating in minutes! Use a stopwatch to keep track of time. Set it to 45 seconds on/ 15 seconds off (over the span of a minute, resting during the 0ff time). Repeat until each round is completed twice. At the end of each round rest 1- 2 minutes, then move on to the next round. During the 45 seconds on, work at your own pace but make sure your pushing  yourself! For beginners use light weight dumbbells 1-5lbs. / moderate use 5-10 lbs. / advanced use 10-15 lbs. and repeat for a third time.

Round 1

  • Jump in and out squat (no weight)
  • Curtsy lung
  • Squat with upright row

Round 2

  • Deadlift to squat
  • Squat to row
  • Elbow to knee crunch (no weight)
Round 3

  • Bent over row to curl
  • Stationary lung
  • Shoulder press to tri extension

Round 4

  • Plank jack to knee tuck (no weight)
  • Crunches (no weight)
  • Hip thrusters (no weight)

If your reading this and thinking,  “I don’t know how to do these lifts” no fear! Use bodybuilding.com ! All you have to do is type in the exercise and a detailed explanation and video will pop up! Make sure to stretch afterwards. Keep up the good work and have fun !
